A New Age Of Aged Care Services & Aged Care Service Provider

Better Living Homecare provide flexible and affordable in home care services through private arrangements or government funded home care packages.

In the past, when someone became unable to care for themselves at home, moving to a nursing home or retirement village was the next logical step. At Better Living Homecare, we believe people can be just as well looked after, if not more so, while continuing to enjoy the comfort of their own homes. Statistics show that the average Australian is living and staying active longer, so it is only natural that a happier, healthier life is more likely to be lived at home during the senior years.

Better Living Homecare specialises in providing flexible and affordable aged care at home for much less than you’d expect. We work with individuals, families and friends of people who require assistance to deliver targeted and highly personalised care. Our core values centre around quality of service, reliability and affordability.

Having been in the business of aged care for nearly three decades, we understand that some people can find it hard to admit they need help at home. They may be too proud, or worried about losing their independence. However, we believe receiving assistance at home should be seen as a positive step when the alternative is having to move to an aged care facility. The amount of assistance required may be minimal at first, meaning only the necessary help is received while people maintain a high level of independence. Staying at home also means that they remain a part of the community and stay in touch with friends nearby.

Assistance may be needed in the form of minor tasks such as making the bed, doing the laundry or doing the shopping. It’s these little things that can make a great deal of difference to a person’s wellbeing. If pain or mobility is limiting a person’s ability to perform basic physical tasks but they are otherwise well, having little things taken care of means they can spend more time relaxing and enjoying their extended retirement.

Better Living Homecare’s aged care services can include:

  • Personal care -bathing, dressing, grooming, continence management and assistance with transfer aids and mobility.
  • Respite - a chance for carers/family members to take a break for an hour, extended periods or overnight.
